Role & Responsibilities
As Clara’s Senior Strategy and Operations Manager, you’ll report directly to the CEO and help establish and grow the company at a critical stage. As one of Clara’s earliest employees, you’ll have an outsized impact on the direction and trajectory of the company.
In this position, you will play a critical role in setting and executing company strategy. Working closely with the CEO, you will establish and operationalize key initiatives, including:
- Growth: Identifying and scoping new market expansion initiatives and product verticals
- Operations: Collaborating with Product and Customer Success Operations teams to streamline marketplace workflows and achieve 10x efficiency gains in areas like marketplace matching, caregiver acquisition, payroll management, and collections
- Compliance: Owning federal and state regulatory workflows to drive efficiency, ensure 100% compliance, and expand to new jurisdictions
You will serve as a key strategic leader, addressing the company's most pressing challenges and opportunities while building scalable, successful processes to drive long-term growth.
Target Candidate
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 4-6 years of professional experience in strategy, operations, or adjacent roles
- Ability to work independently with ambiguity and minimal direction, taking complex problems and developing effective solutions
- Results-driven with a bias toward action
- Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment rather than traditional corporate structures
Nice to haves
- Experience in the home care or digital health space
- Experience with payroll, compliance, or regulatory matters
- Basic technical skills (comfortable writing python scripts, SQL queries, spreadsheet automation, etc.)
