Role & Responsibilities
As Clara’s General Manager in the Bay Area, you’ll report directly to the CEO and help establish and grow the company at a critical early stage. As employee number one, you’ll have an outsized impact on the trajectory and direction of the company.
You will own P&L for the SF Bay area market, growing and scaling our two sided-marketplace, with day-to-day activities including:
- Sales & Marketing
- Partnership development with local skilled nursing, post acute, and assisted living facilities
- Brand marketing/local social media management
- Caregiver acquisition strategy and optimization
- Operations
- Facilitating matching between clients and caregivers
- Optimizing workflows
- Providing input to the product and automation roadmaps
- Customer success
- Onboarding calls / site visits
- Handling escalations from customers
Target Candidate
- Comfortable working with ambiguity & minimal direction. Can be handed large problem statement and figure out how to solve
- Outcome-oriented & biased towards action
- Likes to move quickly. Prefers the daily adventure of startup culture to the bureaucracy of big companies
- Must be based in the SF Bay Area
Nice to haves
- Experience in the home care or digital health space
- Experience in a traditional inside or outside sales role
- Familiarity with growth marketing tools & strategy
- Basic technical skills a plus (comfortable writing python scripts, SQL queries, spreadsheet automation, etc.)
